Hey Raynor,
If Franken loses 3 LB's as I have heard rumor, they will finish a distant 3rd next season. Reed has left also. Then again, Franken may fill this hole with an import LB. Franken always does a good job with its imports, they will just have to splurge for more than 2 Offensive imports. It all depends on how bad they want to win the GFL2S.
What up Michael, Muff, what is going on in Franken??

Please dont compare them
Dont judge GFL1 football off of Saarland and Darmstadt who have had losing seasons forever. For the mere fact it took Saarland that long to get beat in regulation has me thinking the GFL2 is waaaaaay behind the GFL. Stuttgart and Marburg are two real good teams and have the ability to beat their North Teams. No team in the GFL 2 can beat either of them at any time. If so, they would schedule their preseason games against them to see where they stand as far as their talent goes. It is not impossible to set it up.

Saarland the former GFL1 team and Darmstadt twice last year there is not much dfference betweeen the top GFL" South teams and the low end GFL1 Teams.
I believe that Darmstadt will end up at No.3 winning their matches against all teams but Franken and Wiesbaden.
Wiesbaden should be able to beat Franken twice so that they will go to relegation and win against either Weinheim or SH.
Newcomer's coming into the GFL1, I'd have to say Munich did pretty good showing a first year team can compete in its first season.
Munich was in the GFL for a real long time. They fell out for a little bit but came back. To say it was their first year is a little off. It's not like they have been battling from the 5-4-3-2-1. Which actually, here we go again, Weinheim did surpassing the other league 2 teams on their way up.
Munich has always been pretty decent. I like their running game, and they have a nice little passing game, but their D is not as good as they say.
Last I heard, GFL1 players put on their shoes the same way that GFL2 players do!
I believe there are good athletes down there, I really do. I have never heard of anyone though, but I imagine there are.
There are pretty damn good players playing in the GFL2 as well, not so far a fall in talent between the top-tier GFL2 programs and a mid-pack GFL1 team anymore.
Then where are these teams at then??????What has come up from league 2 that is so devastating? Why are the league 2 "A"s not playing in league 1? Any GFL 2 team will come in and take their lumps in the GFL 1 between their North games and the good teams in the south which realistically as of right now is only 2 judging off the past seasons. Marburg and Stuttgart will battle and the rest have to catch up. It is not so hard for a decent team from the GFL 2 to come up and win some games. What was there last year????D-Stadt, Halle, Munich sometimes? The league was wack last year. When I talk about the GFL1 South, I am not speaking on those teams who cant compete with players who dont come to practice nor work their ass off in the off season, etc. i would love to see more competition in the South, we need more kick ass teams. I truley believe that Weinheim will win more than 4 games this year.
I dont know anything about Brikus's incident. I think he will miss 4 games, but as soon as he gets on the feild, he can flat out cover. Sure he was chasing whoever all over the feild last year, cuz he had too. He played in Darmstadt!!!!!!!
Big whoop on 3 quality QB's, I agree, you can only start 1, but the competition created between 3 starting caliber QB's only makes these guys stronger each year.
True! Competition is good! Would definitley love that problem in Weinheim. I am betting with all the A's on Offense, Weinheim would like to have this problem.
WR creating double teams - I would venture to say that teams might commit a safety over the top of Jackson, maybe if there were someone to throw him the ball. They have every game of his career and will continue to do so. There will be a QB in Weinheim, they went for one last year. They fly one on this year off of the OC's connections. Would be lovely to get a good E or DE Qb though.
Best QB, Adam Hazel, HANDS DOWN was the best QB in Germany last season. Rainbow is a legend in Germany, an incredible QB for many season's, but has lost a step. In his Prime, he and Hazel would be 1-2, but did you see the German Bowl??? He's not what he used to be. Ira Vandever is another good QB, but Hazel and the Plattling Offense - awesome, just ask Leland, he was chasing Blakely and Farghali all over the field last season for 2 games, throw in Starzengruber - good luck!
I am very anxious to see this Plattling team of whom I have never heard of until this year. Would be cool if they are as hype as you say they are. Need good games to watch. Is Plattling in your area? Check out that Weinheim game against them when they play there. Till then..........
