AJ: I have no fricken idea why Matz and Buskirk didn't travel with the team on such an important game. If I were a teamate, I might question their priorities?? But I am not, and to be honest, I am not sure that either of them being there would have changed the results of the game. The stable of horses that went to Plattling were more than enough to do the trick, better than any of the RB's on the BH roster

Which leads me to your second comment. Losing a game is a team effort, but the Defense had to be kicking their own ass repeatedly on the bus ride home. I've seen the film, our front 7 was dominated for the most part. Hazel could have smoked a PACK of cigarettes he had so much time. The weakness in the defense is, and in my opinion, has always been the secondary, but they don't look so bad when the QB is hitting his back foot and has a DL/LB in his shorts. With Montabaur, this wasn't the case, I saw it more secondary play and coaching. It never really looked like we made any adjustments to covering 81. Sure, we changed the CB, but good coaches can lock down a dominant WR with schemes, poor halftime adjustments, a combination of Defensive Coaching and poor secondary play. I am not going to call out any players for something they sent me in confidence, just not my tactic, but I hear that Defensive practice time is wasted with coverages that aren't even run, film study that is not happening. Coach Treber is a Warrior, he knows if there is a weak link in the system, he will fix it!

Gib einen Löffel Olivenöl mit in den Teig und die Spätzle werden noch besser.
Beim Abseihen in kaltem Wasser "abschrecken", so werden sie nicht lätschig oder wässrig. Vor dem Verzehr in der Pfanne mit Butter anschwenken und etwas Muskat dazu.

Bis auf den Löffel Olivenöl - hey ich bin Schwabe und will mich nicht vergiften - ist das wirklich lecker. Etwas Butter vorher separieren und dann mit Semmelbrösel "aufwischen" und als Deko über die Spätzle legen und schon kannst Du bei mir in der Küche anfangen.

Natürlich muss der Teig angepasst werden, wenn man ihn nicht schabt, sondern presst, aber da reicht es Wasser oder Mehl zuzuführen.

I've gotten an email from one of my player friends, he told me you were at the Christening of your 1st child. I've got no heartburn with that. As I posted earlier, there was MORE than enough firepower on the bus from Wiesbaden to lick the Black Hawks, we just didn't get the job done. Oh well, time to move on! Congrads on the new baby!

Am Samstag empfangen die Footballer der SpVgg Plattling die abstiegsbedrohten Silver Arrows aus Stuttgart. Die als klarer Favorit in die Partie gehenden Plattlinger werden dabei die Eintrittsgelder für ein schwerbehindertes fünf jähriges Mädchen spenden. Das Team der Black Hawks wird außerdem für jeden erzielten Punkt 10 Euro für die kleine Marlene drauf legen. Das sollte dann, nach bereits erfolgten Spendenaktionen anderer Vereine, die Kosten für eine geplante Delfintherapie decken.

Was gibts da zu maulen? Sind wir jetzt auch Jammerlappen und hören wegen jedem Dreck Xavier Naidoo?

Die Black Hawks werden eine ähnliche Sichtweise der Spielstärken haben wie der Rest der Deutschen Footballwelt. Sollen die so eine Aktion gegen einen starken Gegner starten, bei dem man mit einem low-score-Ergebnis rechnet? Dann würden sie hier als armselig und geizig beschimpft.

10 Euro pro Punkt, nicht pro TD! Ich wag mal die Prognose, daß die Spieler mehr Geld besteuern, als die Zuschauer.

Ich finds gut.

Für mich als Gegner wärs Motivation, auch wenn ich dann gegen das Mädchen spiele.

Corpse, we are going to be ole drinking buddies by the time this forum is over. Here is an idea, why don't the Stuttgart Silver Arrows pledge 10 Euro for every point they score...better yet, 10 Euro for every point they give up! That would be a hell of a motivation to score and not be scored on.

Personally, I think it creative, just like the old walk-a-thons none of the Germans would know about (probably) where people used to pledge a dollar for every lap around the track you walked. I don't think it any kind of ploy to run the score up, of which I will no longer talk about LOL

Come on Stuttgart, show the girl some love. Jump in on this action!

Das wäre ja aus meiner Sicht Kontraproduktiv.

@ pinky: Wie gesagt, ich finde die Idee auch nicht schlecht. Aber es bleibt halt ein "Gschmäckle". Und wer gegen Wiesbaden über 50 Punkte macht, muss ja eigentlich nicht auf Stuttgart warten, oder?

Also ich mach es hier offiziell:
Ich lobe pro Punkt, den die Arrows am Wochenende gegen Plattling erzielen, 10 Euro Spende an die kleine Marlene aus.
