GFL 2 Süd 2008
@ Liga.
1 on 1 that is my ISP!...did not mean to get the Farmers angry...but Farmers, Internet....hopefully you can see the humor.
Ok sports fans and people who have pigs that use computers...
Time for the Oink Oink report.
The Pre Season, hey its still December Santa Claus Ho Ho Ho predictions for 2008!
In the running for the #1 spot... to get to the GFL süd.
Talk about Farmers, the Black Hawks are even further out in the boon docks...(this means in the country not the city). But the price of Hops and Pork has gone up in the local Aldi and they now have the Stash of Cash to pay the big bucks to the Imports...it seems that imports were not on the barter system of economics, and two chicken some eggs and all the butter you want were no enough to bring in the big guns. I wonder if the Imports know the difference between D- Marks and Euro´s? And that there is no 12€ bill. Hey I have change if they need it- how about three 4€ bills.
Needless to say these Tractor driving hillbillys seem to be Santas favorite in 2008. With key add on´s from Cherry town and keeping a few Imports from last year....Payed the TE from Holland in chesse I hear.
I see the Black Hawks as odds on favorites. Hopefully the Ants will not upset their plans.
The Ritters from Frankenstien...oh Rotten berg, I have heared nothing from that part, except some squeeky noises associated with lack of OIL on the armour of the Knights...have they run out of money? Is the poor American dollar and tourists not going to Christmas and the Dark ages town? I hear and a little bird told me, that no changes will occur, they think they have enough to win the Big Prize, seeing that the Hay Seed Cousins of the Black Hawks the Cowboys have left the Liga to the greener pastures and bigger Cows to rope in the GFL. The Club was good last year, why not stay the same? Hey can´t blame them. But so much Dinero! in Süd B_land is being spent, can the Ritters get the Critters( small animals) to play and win.
I see them as a close second and with an upset, and a few points...maybe back to where they were.
The one who could spoil everyones Summer Punch is the Hessen Blue and Gold. The Weisbaden Phantoms...so changes have happened, a certain person has moved further north and some have left the club. But they have a way of playing and enough people to make the difference. Like the Ants these guys can ruin your day...we know that anything German Built lasts, hell I have had a Bocsh Deep fryer for years, but then again my Mercedes broke down and I got a Honda...we will see, can the humble club that says and sings the Amy Winehouse song" Aint gonna buy imports...no no no" gonna do it. I see them in the Mix till week 12...then who knows.
The others,
Saarland....nope, those French food eating, white wine drinking guys from the border town are going to take a few years to fix the broken Citrone...I give them 2 years to re-build, then maybe. They will finish in the Middle.
Silver Arrows- in the last three years they have had 2 perfect seasons 0-and a whole lot and 14-0 I think...RL stuff. They need one thing in Stutt land and that is sponsers and money...a few Imports will make them a better club, they have the Staff, they have some players but they need a few more Rabbits in the Hat to make them even think about being a contender. I was there a few times and I did not understand a word that was spoken too me...maybe when I can finally get Swabish in my ear they will win...hell I have been in Germany since 99 and I can hold a conversation with a 3 year old...
The Wild Cats.
It is going to be a long season in Cherrytown...real long, They will have a good team, but they will be not strong enought to hold it together. Yes they got the Star Guy as a WR but the trade of was Sammy... and they will have a few players, they always do...but the Santas Cristal Ball says 4th or 5th...sorry fellas...but then again they may be the upset kings...look at the thunder doom syndrome...the top two teams may be upset, split the games and old Cherry Town wins it...hey Hollywood movies happen all the time...well in the movies.
The Farmers...well they live near Limburg, and so the will not stink...smelly chesse (That was a joke) Ok we have the Farm boys who beside driving tractors also play football. Their Offense was pertty good is what I heared, but a young QB...hey these boys hit in the 2nd liga...and they play better football than RL...and you did lose last year. They need an infusion of a few good players, and they need a new defense...the old barn has to be torn down and a new one built...I used farm talk to say they need a new defense. Maybe you can get the 1 on 1 guy to give you some money...hey he takes enough of mine...did you guys ever have the TV show "Green Acers" here?
Green acers is the place to be...farm living is the life for me...land spreading out so far and wide, keep manhatten just give me that country side...That was the song. I see 6th place at best.
DA ANTS
I love the Ants...hey last year they pulled some miricles and almost Whacked the PP of the cowboys. Pesky Ants nobody likes them always into food and stuff, heck even their Coach hated them and left. The Ants will continue to be everyones nightmare...but they will be near the bottom.
So Ho Ho Ho...not three Poofy girls but a cheer from Saint Nick.

30.12.2007 Black Hawks holen neuen Quarterback

The Blackhawks have got a player and a leader. Adam is one of the most intelligent QB´s I have seen and knows the game. I wish him all the best in 2008.

"At UO, Hazel served as a scout team quarterback in practice against the starting defensive unit, receiving a pair of scout team offensive player of the week awards in 2003."

Even if the guy did just walk-on does that mean he sucks? And just because I walk on somewhere doesn't mean I can stay. That means he had to be doing something right if he got to stay. What have you guys acheived in your football career? But I forgot, we got a bunch of NFL profi's in this forum. Yall need to quit hatin so much man..

Nobody said he sucks. It was just pointing out the difference between the press release and the reality. Reading the press release, it says he got offered many scholarships and finally decided to enroll at Oregon and was QB #2 behind Clemens, reading the US Press, he is a walk-on who only played on the scout team. Does make a difference, doesn't it ? Now the question is, where this difference comes from... If it was intentional by the pbh or if it was just ignorance or if they got fooled on the player's curriculum with no further research (like i.e. that Pinder guy in Dresden last year)
