Stuttgart Silver Arrows vs. Montabaur Fighting Farmers
Wichtiges Spiel für beide in Blickrichtung Abstiegskampf. SSA hat gezeigt, dass sie durchaus in der Lage sind, zu scoren (wenn auch nicht zuletzt gg. PBH), ich schätze MFF werden sich aber von der Franken-Klatsche rehabilitieren wollen, zudem scheint es mit SSA eine besondere Art von Rivalität zu geben, ich denke MFF hat die Nase vorn --> MFF +14

Wiesbaden Phantoms vs. Kirchdorf Wildcats
WP haben die Saison mit Sicherheit noch nicht aufgegeben, wittert noch den letzten Rest von Morgenluft. KW sind gerade erfolgreich dabei, das Saisonziel "Nichtabstieg" zu zementieren - das Saisonziel sollte auch ohne Sieg gegen WP zu erreichen sein, in Wiesbaden hängen die Trauben sehr hoch (das weiß auch PBH); keine Überraschung --> WP +17

GAME OF THE WEEK
Oh, Oh, Oh - viel gehate um die Art und Weise wie FK die beiden letzten Spiele gewonnen hat; PBH m. M. nach das bessere Team (ich habe selbst auch durchaus Sympathien für das Team, Plattlingovitch hin oder her), aber: die Liga würde mit einm FK-Sieg obenrum wieder etwas spannender werden, und ich muss auf meine Ambitionen im Tipper-Ranking achten. Ganz objektiv betrachtet könnte meine Prognose auch durchaus stimmen; der Druck liegt nicht bei FK - die haben aber 1. einen superdicken Hals, 2. einiges vom Hinspiel gut zu machen und 3. Heimvorteil... PBH wird trotzdem Meister, aber --> FK +4

Königsbrunn Ants vs. Saarland Hurricanes
Tja, Saarland darf und wird sich keinen Ausrutscher im Abstiegskampf leisten, nicht gegen diese KA. Die spannendere Frage wäre "erzielt KA den 2. TD dieser Saison?". Good Luck Ants in der neuen Saison / Liga --> SH +34

GAME OF THE WEEK
MoFoFa auswärts schlecht, secondary kürzlich misearbel. SSA passt aber nicht gern'. MoFoFa im freien Fall in Liga 3? Heimvorteil und -sieg - SSA+13.

KW @ WP
Mit einem Sieg könnte KW sich in die obere Tabellenhälfte schummeln, aber so weit wird es nicht kommen - WP+25.

PIS @ FS
(Plattling Imports & Söldner @ Franken Sith)
Imo kommt es auf die Tagesform der Imports & Söldner an, v.a. auf die des QB. Eine Leistung wie gegen WP und die Sith werden zerschmettert. Allerdings sind die Sith böse und gemein, vielleicht zerlegen sie ja frühzeitig den PIS-QB, das wäre dann ein easy win. Mich blenden die Sith mit ihren letzten beiden Machtdemonstrationen nicht - PBH+21.

SH @ KA
SH zeigte gegen WP nicht viel. Auswärts ist es immer schwerer, gegen KA ist es aber nicht ganz so schwer - SH+35.

Stuttgart Silver Arrows - Montabaur Fighting Farmers
Wer steckt die Klatsche aus der Vorwoche am Besten weg?
Ich tippe auf die Arrows, denn gegen Plattling kann man sich schon ein paar TDs einfangen und mit 40 Punkten hinten liegen.
Wer jedoch 80 Punkte kassiert, hat (zumindest in dem Spiel) aufgegeben und muss das erst mal verdauen.
Möglicherweise ist Stuttgart dafür genau der richtige Gegner, aber ich denke eher, dass die Arrows den Abstiegskampf spannend halten SSA + 10

Kirchdorf Wildcats - Wiesbaden Phantoms
Ein Sieg wären 2 Bonus Punkte für Kirchdorf. Und ein Lottogewinn wäre ein Bonus für mich.
Beides wird wohl (leider) in dieser Woche nicht passieren WP + 24

Franken Knights - Plattling Black Hawks
Die Kadertiefe scheint ja kein Vorteil der Franken mehr zu sein und die Defense der Hawks wird wohl mehr zeigen, als die der Ants und Farmers.
Ich glaube nicht, dass die zuletzt wenig geforderte Defense der Knights die Hawks oft genug stoppen wird. PBH + 9

Call me crazy, but Tanner can throw just as good and accurate as Hazel
but can scramble and has good size and speed to run thru or past defenders. Simmons is a beast and hard to tackle. Best bet is to have Butler cover Simmons.

Kwame Aygin is too powerful and fast.

Plattling @ Franken Game Of The Week
Plattling is in full stride at the moment, well on their way to be champs and they will need to be focused and at their best to pull off a victory in Franken. Franken is still in the mix to win the championship as well, with a 10 point or more victory against Plattling plus a victory of 7 against Wiesbaden, they could be champs. And in case of a 3 way tie they would have to have scored more points in the league(which might explain the scoring frenzy the last two weekends). Plattling has more than a couple of options to match-up well against Mr. Simmons ie Butler, Hennick or Eichinger. The big question in this game is will the Knights defense place the clamps on the PBH Airshow. I think it will be a good game, but in the end there can be only 1 #1. Plattling+21

Somewhere along the way, Montabaur seemed to have lost their preseason form. And after that lack of effort from last weekend, they will definitely have to snap out of it and start playing football again or else the Silver Arrows just may secure their future with a win. It will be close, only for the first half. Fighting Farmers+20

Kirchdorf has improved alot on offense and their defense has pretty much stayed the same outside of that Stuttgart game. The Phantoms are still holding on to their championship hopes, but this weekend, I think they will be bitten by the upset bug. Kirchdorf +7

Plattling - Franken: Unquestionably the GAME OF THE WEEK!

QB's - Advantage Black Hawks, Hazel is the Top QB in Germany, ANY Division!
WR's - Advantage Black Hawks, despite the numbers, Blakely is still the #1 WR in the GFL2, maybe also in Germany. Simmons is a close 2nd, but top to bottom, Plattling is loaded!
RB's - Advantage Knights, Plattling has decent runners, but Franken has a stable of RB's, 2nd only to Wiesbaden.
OL - Advantage Black Hawks, Franken was much stronger last season on both sides of the ball, but the Black Hawks have improved every week, and dominated both Wiesbaden's (game 2) and Franken's front 7 their first match-ups.
DL - Advantage Knights, Bigger, more experienced lines, especially when you factor in Schobel playing Nose.
LB's - Draw, both teams are strong at this position.
DB's - Black Hawks, best in the League!
Special Teams - Advantage Black hawks, Toure Butler is the best returner in the GFL2, and Eichinger in Plattling has a monster leg!
Coaching - Advantage Black Hawks, I saw this team in person week 2, and on Tape verses Franken and Wiesbaden 2. On offense, this team is loaded at every position but RB. Add to that the play calls, this is the funnest team to watch I have seen in my 5 years of GFL2. Defensively, other than Butler, there are no Super Stars. BUT this team has pitched 4 shut-outs, played Wiesbaden off their feet the first 1/2 of game 2, and how many of the 19 4th quarter points Wiesbaden 2 were legit (I would think the Defensive philosophy changes from being attacking to conservative up 25 points in the 4th quarter). They got blown out the 1st quarter of Franken 1 and dominated the 2nd half. Top to bottom, the best prepared team every week in the GFL2, best schemes, and my bet is they will be well prepared this week! Black Hawks 35 - Knights 17

SSA - MFF - Last week was a fluke for MFF, however, they will have to score a lot of points. I look for their wounded pride to take over, and a big game from Brungel! MFF +14

KW - WP - Something is still amuck with the Phantoms Defense. Saarland has no punch and was still able to score. I look for the bus ride to just be too long for the Wildcats, and the Phantoms win by 10!

KA - SH - Who Cares - SH +35

I get to see Buskirk 6 - 7 times a year, he is as you define, the human highlight reel. However, the Kick-off return of Butler game 1 was much more impressive than the punt return of Buskirk, I don't think anyone in GFL2 has as quick of feet, vision, and can flat out run your ass over better than what I have seen from Butler! Either way, they are both fun to watch!

Hey Rick - I think you are wrong in your analysis of Franken winning the GFL2. Both Wiesbaden and Franken need the Hawks to lose 2 games for either of them to win the title. Plattling has a tie, and Franken has 2 losses. With 1 loss, they still own the tie-breaker with Wiesbaden, which is why we need them to lose twice. which is not a reach. They struggled a bit verses KW, we can only hope

well Plattling will win in Rothenburg and all the speculations will come to an end
