Guten Abend Sportsfreunde! Ich war heute auch in Böblingen und ganz sicher haben die Hammers heute NICHT verdient gewonnen! Den Unterschied heute hat ein "Safety" ausgemacht, von einem durch die Böblinger geblockten Fieldgoal...2 Punkte
Donaueschingen konnte heute keine Minute entspannt Spielen, wie in den bisherigen Spielen . Schau dir nochmal das Ergebnis an..bisher haben die Hammers in ALLEN bisherigen Spielen nur 6 Gegenpunkte kassiert. Heute waren es 22!
Klasse Leistung der Bears, das hat als Zuschauer Spass gemacht!

Danube/Boblingen was a great game today! Watching the teams side by side, it looked like a mis-match, the Hammer were so much bigger, it looked like a head taller at every position. However, the Bears proved that the size of the heart is more important. It is too bad everyone in BW did not see the game. It proves what all of us want to believe in this sport, that heart and desire are invariables that are a big part of the game. The Bears kept coming back, the players, the coaches, the fans, and most of all their desire to win made them winners in my book. Congratulations to the Hammer for finding a way to win their toughest game of the year, but my hat is off for the Bears for playing with the most heart I have seen on a football field in many years. Wes, you and the boys left everything on that field and you should be very proud. Your performance was inspiring and made me wish I could take the field just one more time.

Als du diesen Beitrag ins Forum gestellt hast, hat sicher jeder ungläubig den Kopf geschüttelt.
Aber an diesem Samstag wurden wir eines besseren belehrt!
Alles kann passieren - du hast recht. Wie wird die Reaktion der Hammers aussehen im Spitzenspiel am kommenden Wochenende gegen die Titans? Gibt es eine Trotzreaktion nach dem knappen und sicher auch glücklichen Sieg gegen die Bears? Oder ist Donaueschingen jetzt verunsichert, da sie anscheinend die Liga doch nicht nach Belieben dominieren können und ausgerechnet jetzt das ebenfalls noch ungeschlagene Team aus Crailsheim anreist?
Und was ist mit Böblingen passiert? Ich habe sie beim Saisonauftakt in Heilbronn gesehen. Am gestrigen Samstag waren sie im Gegensatz zu jenem harmlosen Auftritt bei den Salt Miners wohl nicht wiederzuerkennen!
Das wird noch eine spannende Saison in der Verbandsliga ...

ein super spiel! die bears fighten wie man es wirklich selten zu sehn bekommt. auf diese leistung kann böblingen wirklich stolz sein. gebt den jungs noch ein/zwei jahre! klasse truppe!

Nee spass. finds cool das die Böblinger so abgegangen sind. Da sieht man doch das da sehr gute arbeit geleistet wird. Macht weiter so.

Gratulation nach Böblingen. Gutes Spiel, auch wenn die Hammers echt neben sich standen. Super gekämpft.

Im Rückspiel wirds sicher schwerer aber egal. Wenn das Team so zusammenspielt...viel Glück Jungs

Gibt's denn nun was zum Thema Ulm? Die Saison nähert sich ja so langsam dem Ende...

zum spiel mergentheim- aalen.

jungs ich hab mich echt gelangweilt.

sonnenbrand hab ich und es gibt in mergentheim kein fanta. aber was richtig cool war ist, das heisse mädels im freibad neben an in tangas rumliefen.

Much appreciated and we look forward to building upon this game (and this season) to continue our progress towards establishing a top-notch football program in Boeblingen. We wanted the WIN but we get a second bite at the apple in two weeks and look forward to facing the Hammers again for a good day of REAL hard, hitting football.

Thanks Jerry, we appreciate words like these from some of the more respected coaches in the region and it gives us some measure of validation that we are moving in the right direction. Hopefully we can continue to earn the respect of players, teams, coaches and fans in years to come.
