QB ist Robert Demers. Keine Frage ein vielversprechendes Talent und vielleicht der beste europäisch Qb seines Jahrgangs, hat letzte Saison sein Können vor allem beim 27-07 gegen die Rebels mit 4 TD-Pässen schon aufblitzen lassen.

Aber das war ohne Druck, jetzt liegt die Last auf seinen Schultern. Erstklassiges Talent - ja

der junge ist so abgewichst und agiert wie ein jahrelanger gfl QB.
dem merkt man im leben nicht an, dass er gerade erst aus der jugend kommt.

What is extremely surprising to me is how tight lipped everyone seems to be this off season. What is clear to me, is my poor Phantoms have some SIGNIFICANT issues heading into the season. Both starting QB's from the last several years are gone. Is this the year we bring in an import QB? I have heard a few names kicked around, but think it more likely that Marius Markgraf will be running the show opening day weekend. The Phantoms have several good WR's, but the OL and RB situation this offseason is tough. We lost our top 2 RB's from 09 to Frankfurt, our starting FB to Darmstadt, and rumor has it that the human highlight reel, Joel B. will be in Hanau. We've lost 2, maybe 3 OL...offseason has been tough. The "Receiver Eater" is in Hanau, that is enough for 2-3 wins alone LOL. Just kidding Kenny, it's all in fun!

Not much news on the Knights either, but this is typical in Franken. We will find out the new additions 2 weeks before the season begins. The biggest news was the coaching staff, but nothing really significant since. Strong OL, import QB, decent RB's and Oli Rohn = balanced offensive attack, although I think Jenkins will move the offense into more of a smashmouth running game. Defensively, key question is who will replace Eric Smith at DE and Morgan in the secondary. I've not seen anything to show that any of the rest of the defense has left, but have heard it is a 1 import show this year in Franken with a few high school kids from DODS Powerhouse Ansbach High School and Daryl Menner.

Darmstadt looks ready to make another run at the GFL1 and is my sleeper pick to win it all, Franken 2, Wiesbaden 3, Saarland 4. IF Buskirk joins Brown in Hanau, it could be a fun offense to watch, just not sure who will play QB, but Hanau has done as much as anyone to make themselves better this year and could surprise.
