Trotz allem sollte man nicht vergessen: so schlecht kann Washington als Coach nicht gewesen sein, immerhin hat er die Horns in die GFL geführt und dort dann auch noch in die Playoffs. Also war sicher nicht alles nur schlecht, was er gemacht hat.

In einer Liga, in der zwo Drittel der Mannschaften in die Playoffs kommen, ist das imo keine Kunst.

naja, manchmal langt es auch schon wenn dein team/spieler genügend talent hat/haben , dann geht das fast von alleine.
wenn er wirklich so ein guter coach wäre, dann wären spieler gekommen (ohne bezahlung) und nicht wegen ihm gegangen.

@simply amazin Nicht jeder der Weinheim verlassen hat, war ein schlechter Spieler. Nicht jeder - aber halt die Meisten.

Ich glaube wir zwei haben Differenzen über die wir mal sprechen sollten. Ich würde mich defintiv freuen...

Ich denke auch das Die Mannschaft die in die GFL aufgestiegen ist so viel Talent und Potenzial hatte dass sie wahrscheinlich mit einem 3.Klassigen Coach aufgestiegen wäre!!
Aber ihr habt recht,nicht alles war schlecht,er hat schließlich Danny mitgebracht,und so einen talentierten Runningback gab es in Weinheim vorher nicht zu bestauen!!
Da Mann hatte mit Sicherheit das nötige KNOW HOW,leider hat er manchmal einfach vergessen Mensch zu sein!!

Zumal 3 der 4 Mannschaften, die man hinter sich ließ in den 2 Jahren (Darmstadt 07, Saarland 07, Darmstadt 08) auf die beiden Jahre auf insgesamt 2 Siege kamen und man außer gegen den 5. und 6. platzierten dieser beiden Jahre kein Spiel gewonnen hat.

Bleibt er denn trotzdemnoch Defensive Coordinator in der BaWü Auswahl?
Oder ist es egal ob man ein Team coacht oder nicht?

In just 7 years (1999-2006) the team went from 3rd place in the Oberliga to playing in the GFL. That isnt by any means easy to do so there has to be at least something Coach Washington was doing right. You don't just "luck" your way into the GFL especially when you typically have 12-14 teams playing in the 2. BL Sued that are also trying to move up.

when you have more talent then all the teams then its easy but when u play against teams that got just as much talent as you then it comes down to COACHING and thats when his flaws got exposed
there are so many things i can say right now but i wont but trust me COACHING was a BIG issue
i wont put washington on full blast right now so i will just keep it like this the right move was finally made

True very true...all things being equal coaching does become a larger part of the equation. But since they moved up to the GFL in 2006, I'm not so sure Weinheim's talent was/is equal to what you see in Stuttgart, Marburg and SHA. I know what you mean by coaching being a big factor, but that a lot of football and a lot of wins since 1999 and talented players alone don't get you all the way from Oberliga to GFL that easy. And saying it like that makes it seem like all the other 30+ teams they beat out over those years just suck or something and didnt have enough talent to compete with the Longhorn stable of athletes or something. Maybe he isn't a very good GFL coach but saying he has been killing the program is very harsh given the "success" of the program since he has been there. And I know you dont want to put his business in the streets but you already threw the turd on the table, you can't just run out the room.
